Setting Up Online Banking With HFS
Time is money, and with HFS FCU’s online banking options, you can save both!
Instantly manage your money and perform many of the same transactions that you would in a branch with just a few clicks. With Online and Mobile Banking, you can access your checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, and more no matter where you are.
Online Banking is secure, convenient, and enables you to do the following:
- View up-to-date account balances
- Pay bills and pay people
- View detailed loan information
- Enroll in eStatements
- Set up alerts to notify you of account balances, due dates and more
- View check images
- Conveniently update your contact information
- Transfer funds between your own accounts or even other HFS members
- Budget
- Monitor your credit score
- Send secure messages to the credit union about your accounts, cards or transactions

Setting Up eStatements
eStatements are an electronic means for receiving your regular account statements. They are faster and safer than traditional mailed statements, and of course, they are free of charge.
With eStatements you can view your statements four to six days faster than mailed statements and reduce your risk of stolen mail or identity theft.
To enroll simply follow these steps:

- Enroll and login to Online Banking1
- Click on Services
- Click on Statements
- Under profile, select the account and change the delivery type to “Electronic”
- Click Submit All
- Review and agree to the E-Statement Agreement
1A valid email address must be provided to HFS FCU before enrolling in Online Banking. Please call 930-1400 or visit any of our branches to update your member information.

Using Quickbooks, Quicken, and Mint
With our upgrade in 2020, some members have experienced difficulties connecting their Online Banking account with QuickBooks, Quicken or Mint. To reconnect, please select your Intuit product from the list below.
- Quicken for Windows Direct Connect
- Quicken for Mac Direct Connect
- QuickBooks for Online (Express Web Connect)- service will be interrupted for up to 3 – 5 business days after June 1, 2020.
- QuickBooks for Windows Direct Connect
- QuickBooks for Mac Direct Connect
- Mint users should not open Mint for 3 – 5 business days after June 1, 2020 to ensure it is properly
updated.

Ready to set up alerts? This is a great tool to keep a watchful eye on your accounts without having to log in all the time. Choose to get an email, text, phone call, or secure message for activity on your accounts when checks are cleared, transactions are posted, and even when your account balance drops below a certain amount.

by Bao75Works most of the time.Most of the time it works. However, when there is a glitch, especially after hours, there is no way to reopened a locked account. Safety is important, but customers should be able to get back in once the locking occurs. Frustrating.

Online banking with HFS has been mind blowing how simple and easy it is and trust me I have another bank I'm using on a few things online and it's frustrating. I've use ck deposit online, I've done my loan papers online, all other banking online. Too bad I can't get cash online. Lol there would be almost no reason to stand in line anymore. Also, any problem with the site or questions? I made a phone call boom answered and done! Only thing % rates should be more competitive or bring in more specials to do loans.

by Tubbsk808Extremely difficult to log in!!Please know that I work with a lot of computers in my occupation. The security questions are so inconsistent. I can log in on my laptop with ease however when I try log in on my smartphone HFS app it almost always logs me out within a split second or cannot log in at all because the correct security questions never register on the app. I know a lot of members that have the same problem and we can only log in on either desktop or laptop. The app is completely useless!!!

Commonly when we see this happen (seeing security questions that you did not set up), it's due to the member's login information needing to be case sensitive such as your username, password and security questions. Please keep this in mind when logging in on your mobile device since many times, the phone automatically capitalizes the first letter you type. If this does not help, please feel free to contact us directly at 930-1400 and we can look into your account if there is a specific problem. Mahalo.

It's so good to know that your bank is paying attention to you when you have moved to the other side of the mainland and forgot to let them know...lol! They will lock your account right away when they notice your card activity somewhere that they are not aware of. What a relief to know that I can just pick up the phone update my information and they will unlock your account right away. The customer service is always great!
by Pissedoff1Online password questions are wrongI don't know why this isn't fixed yet and I'm about to close my account and go someplace where I can actually log on and monitor my account. All the security questions are either ones I never used or wrong EVERY TIME!!!

by HappycustomerLoan ProcessI applied for a personal loan online, I didn't even set foot in the bank. The application was simple and quick, I was approved in less than a minute! A few days later I received a call from a loan officer and was emailed the paperwork. All I had to do was electronically sign them and the funds was deposited into my account in minutes. The loan officer was very friendly and understanding. I would definitely recommend them, I've been banking with HFS for years and have always received great customer service!

How do I enroll in Online Banking?
A valid email address must first be provided to HFS prior to enrolling in Online Banking. Please visit any branch or contact the Credit Union at (808) 930-1400. Once this is completed, follow the prompts on the enrollment page.

I’ve been locked out of my Online Banking account, how do I unlock it?
Online banking now has a feature allowing you to unlock yourself. Simply click on the “Forgot your password?” link.

How do I sign up for eStatements?
Simply follow the steps below:

- Click on Statements
- Under Profile, select the account and change the delivery type to “Electronic”. (Be sure to verify that you can view a PDF on your device too.)
- Click Submit All
- Review and agree to the E-Statement Agreement
