Scholarship Program for Current College Students

Scholarship Recipients

Over the past 9 years, the HFS FCU Scholarship Program has helped over 60 members with their college expenses. The Credit Union has awarded over $150,000 in scholarships to help local students achieve their dreams.

2021 Recipients:

All of us at HFS would like to say congratulations to the recipients of our 2021 HFS FCU Scholarship Program. We know that the Big Island has many hard-working and talented students, but the number of excellent applications we received this year was astounding, and made it difficult for our scholarship committee to choose.

Our 7 winners are each recent graduates of Big Island high schools. Each student is not only local to the island, but they will each be attending college for the first time. One will be studying in Hawaii, while others will be pursuing their collegiate dreams on the mainland. We wish them the best of luck as they embark on the next adventure!
