HFS FCU High School Scholarship Program

2024 HFS Scholarship Program

Applications for the 2024 HFS Scholarship Program are now closed.

Important Update 2/14/24:

Due to recent changes in the FAFSA process and increased processing times, we are removing the requirement of providing the FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI) from our scholarship application. We hope this will alleviate any concerns about scholarship qualification as the deadline approaches. The online application has already been updated to reflect this change.

Since 2012, the HFS FCU Scholarship Program has awarded over $239,000 in scholarships to help Big Island students with their college expenses.  The Credit Union believes in investing in our local students, who will one day be able to provide and give back to their communities.

Applications are now available for the 2024 HFS  Scholarship Program. This year, a total of $45,000 will be awarded to Fifteen recipients with each scholarship worth $3,000.  Ten (10) scholarships are available for graduating Big Island high school seniors and five (5) scholarships are available for current college students.
