Fundraiser to Benefit Hospice
UPDATE: The results are in! Together, the Credit Union’s members and staff raised over $26,000 for our Big Island Hospice Centers! Hospice centers work to improve the lives of those they touch by offering support, guidance and compassionate care of body, mind and spirit.
Hospice of Hilo, North Hawaii Hospice and Hospice of Kona were each presented with their checks, totaling a combined $26,400.14. HFS FCU would like to express our sincere gratitude for the generosity of both our members and staff who helped to raise this sizable donation.
What better way to give back to your community than by supporting a fantastic local cause that touches many lives? Starting May 22nd, we will be having our annual fundraiser, this year benefiting the Hospice Care Center of your choice; Hospice of Hilo, North Hawaii Hospice, and Hospice of Kona. The fundraiser will run until June 17th, 2017 and donations may be made at any HFS FCU office.
Plus, with any donation of $20 or more, receive a FREE HFS item! This year we will be giving out an HFS cooler, which is multi-functional. It can be used as a tumbler, a cup, or even a koozie for your can or bottle. It is insulated and will keep your beverage hot or cold for an extended period of time. Available colors are stainless and black. (pictured below – *while supplies last)
