Scholarship Recipients
In 2020, we began a new phase in our popular scholarship program. We are thrilled to announce our first 3 winners of the HFS College Scholarship. This new and exciting program has been built based on member-demand; specifically, to help reward deserving current college students.

Do I, the applicant, have to submit my 2 recommenders’ letters with my application or can I have them send it to a HFSFCU branch separately?
Aloha Lei – the recommendation letters can be sent separately to HFS FCU if that is easier. Please just have the sender make sure to send it Attention: Scholarship Committee and to include your name in the letter so we know what application to match it with.
Stay tuned for the scholarship applications, which will be available early 2021! Mahalo
Does the transcript need to be an official transcript?
Aloha Devin, an official transcript is preferred, but not required. We do ask, however, that it is a current transcript. Mahalo!
Can the letter of recommendation be emailed?
Hi Shayla,
Yes absolutely, please email the recommendation letter to [email protected].
