UH Hilo Involvement Fair

We were honored to be asked to return this year to the UH Hilo Involvement Fair where we had the opportunity to talk with many students and even their parents as they gear up to start the fall semester. As they visited our table, we took the time to talk with them and make sure they had a plan for how to access and manage their money while they’re here attending school, especially for those that are moving from a different island or even the mainland. Having a plan for your finances is very important! We also had some great questions about building credit, budgeting and the difference between credit unions and banks! Most importantly though, we talked to the UH Hilo students and parents about their dreams. What did they want to accomplish in the near future? Or maybe the distant future?
