Hawaii Rise Foundation

Recently, we partnered with Hawaii Rise Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to create opportunities for vulnerable, or moderate and low-income families, children and elderly by providing educational services, programs and support.

Through Hawaii Rise Foundation, we are offering Financial Wellness workshops for our Big Island keiki! The first group to reach out was Youth Challenge Academy, where we went in and taught a Reality Fair Workshop, which the cadets really enjoyed! These kinds of workshops bring real life money management scenarios to students, in a safe environment for them to learn how to manage a monthly budget.

We also visited Ke Ana Laahana to teach another Reality Fair workshop, which was a great success! Throughout the year we will be offering more classes and hope to reach as many students as we can.
