Since 2012, the HFS FCU Scholarship program has awarded over $295,000 in scholarships to help Big Island students with their higher education expenses. At HFS FCU, we see potential in every member and take pride in supporting our future leaders as they strive to achieve their educational goals.

The HFS FCU Scholarship Program is awarding a total of $60,000 in scholarships to ten graduating Big Island High School Seniors and ten current college students pursuing a full-time higher education at an accredited two- or four-year Vocational-Technical School, College, or University.  Each scholarship recipient will receive $3,000 to support their educational journey for the 2025-2026 academic year.  Recipients were chosen based on their academic achievements and honors, career and personal goals, extracurricular involvement, community service, and financial need.
