Setting Up Online Banking With HFS
Time is money, and with HFS FCU’s online banking options, you can save both!
Instantly manage your money and perform many of the same transactions that you would in a branch with just a few clicks. With Online and Mobile Banking, you can access your checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, and more no matter where you are.
Online Banking is secure, convenient, and enables you to do the following:
- View up-to-date account balances
- Pay bills and pay people
- View detailed loan information
- Enroll in eStatements
- Set up alerts to notify you of account balances, due dates and more
- View check images
- Conveniently update your contact information
- Transfer funds between your own accounts or even other HFS members
- Budget
- Monitor your credit score
- Send secure messages to the credit union about your accounts, cards or transactions

Setting Up eStatements
eStatements are an electronic means for receiving your regular account statements. They are faster and safer than traditional mailed statements, and of course, they are free of charge.
With eStatements you can view your statements four to six days faster than mailed statements and reduce your risk of stolen mail or identity theft.
To enroll simply follow these steps:

- Enroll and login to Online Banking1
- Click on Services
- Click on Statements
- Under profile, select the account and change the delivery type to “Electronic”
- Click Submit All
- Review and agree to the E-Statement Agreement
1A valid email address must be provided to HFS FCU before enrolling in Online Banking. Please call 930-1400 or visit any of our branches to update your member information.

Using Quickbooks, Quicken, and Mint
With our upgrade in 2020, some members have experienced difficulties connecting their Online Banking account with QuickBooks, Quicken or Mint. To reconnect, please select your Intuit product from the list below.
- Quicken for Windows Direct Connect
- Quicken for Mac Direct Connect
- QuickBooks for Online (Express Web Connect)- service will be interrupted for up to 3 – 5 business days after June 1, 2020.
- QuickBooks for Windows Direct Connect
- QuickBooks for Mac Direct Connect
- Mint users should not open Mint for 3 – 5 business days after June 1, 2020 to ensure it is properly
updated.

Ready to set up alerts? This is a great tool to keep a watchful eye on your accounts without having to log in all the time. Choose to get an email, text, phone call, or secure message for activity on your accounts when checks are cleared, transactions are posted, and even when your account balance drops below a certain amount.
Making transfers are easy in Online Banking. You can even set up one-time transfers or recurring transfers. Take a look!
Not sure if an online transaction or mobile deposit went through? Take a look at your Online Activity for a record of your transactions within Online Banking.
Have a question about a transaction, your debit or credit card, or account? Use Secure Messaging within Online Banking to safely discuss these with the Credit union.

by FlybyDissatisfiedSorry right now I'm dissatisfied because I came in to reset my passwords and to start fresh but it's saying I'm already enrolled and I can't log in its asking a question that I don't have an answer to. I need at least 6 months of statement verifications and I needed it now so I can print it out at my mom's house with the printer so that I don't have to pay for it after this I'm going back to paper statements.

The only way to perfect the system is to get more feedback on the operation of the system and suggestions to make it more convenient so please share any issues or what is convenient about the system.

by WebunfriendlyOnline Banking couldn't be more difficultI have changed my password SIX times in the last year due to the fact that this site keeps asking for security questions I have never asked it to prompt me. Incredibly unfriendly website- How do you expect the majority of your older "local" clientele to figure this out? The service when i physically go into the branch is always pleasant, and great, but how humbug that i have to go in to the branch for any/all inquiries.

by 124CCheck View featureWhenever I open a check to view it that is the end of that session. A dialog box comes up saying that I have to wait till it finishes my previous request. This never goes away and I have to log off and log back in to do anything else. This gets rather frustrating. I have accounts at other banks and this is not a problem there. This feature needs to be corrected.

How do I enroll in Online Banking?
A valid email address must first be provided to HFS prior to enrolling in Online Banking. Please visit any branch or contact the Credit Union at (808) 930-1400. Once this is completed, follow the prompts on the enrollment page.

I’ve been locked out of my Online Banking account, how do I unlock it?
Online banking now has a feature allowing you to unlock yourself. Simply click on the “Forgot your password?” link.
