“Caring For Those Who Care For Us” Fundraiser
For this year’s fundraiser, the Credit Union wanted to find a way to give back to those who have given so much to keep us safe and healthy during this pandemic.
Join HFS as we raise funds for the Hilo Medical Center Foundation and Kona Hospital Foundation, both of which assist with the necessary resources to help healthcare workers provide excellent care to our loved ones, island-wide.
Donations will be collected at all HFS branches from May 24 – June 30, 2021.
“It’s truly our pleasure to help raise funds for the Hilo Medical Center Foundation. With everything they’ve done for our East Hawaii community, especially the mass COVID vaccination clinics, we’re happy to support them.” says HFS FCU Marketing Coordinator, Ashley Yamamoto.
“This past year has been difficult for everyone. We are truly thankful for organizations like the Kona Hospital Foundation who continued to provide health care resources to our West Hawaii community and even more! This is just our small way of saying mahalo” says HFS FCU Marketing Specialist, Jesica Carriaga.
The Hilo Medical Center Foundation has supported our East Hawai‘i communities for over 25 years, while the Kona Hospital Foundation has provided care to the West Hawai‘i communities for over 35 years. Throughout the pandemic, they have been diligently supporting our communities around the clock, especially now with the vaccination clinics. Your donation to either of these organizations will help them continue to provide excellent care to our community.
