When we come together as a community, beautiful things happen. Throughout October, monetary donations were collected at all six branch locations. Mahalo to the generosity and support of our members, community, and staff – together we raised $25,020. The funds raised will help support Hawai’i Island Adult Care’s “Kūpuna in Need” program, a vital lifeline for Hawai’i Island families who need it most.

For many families on our island, the cost of quality adult daycare creates an impossible choice. The “Kūpuna in Need” program removes that burden, ensuring that economic challenges never stand between our kūpuna and the dignified care they deserve.
Every dollar donated goes directly to families who need access to high-quality adult daycare services. These programs are what make aging in place possible, allowing our kūpuna to stay connected to their roots, their communities, and their independence.
