HFS Kids Club Youth Savings Account

divider-wave-double

Studies show that the earlier you establish good financial habits, the better your long-term financial security and independence will be. Early financial literacy can empower children to make informed decisions and avoid common pitfalls that can derail their long-term plans.

At HFS FCU, we offer a Kids Club youth savings account to help children develop these financial skills, while encouraging growth and education. All it takes is a $5 opening deposit, and the help of an adult, to get started.

Why Choose HFS Kids Club for Your Child?

HFS FCU’s Kids Club youth savings account is designed to encourage children to save and manage their money effectively. Unlike a traditional savings account, this account offers incentives for opening and using it. When you open the account and make an initial deposit, your child receives a gift. To further support savings, we provide convenient opportunities for additional deposits with Deposit Days occurring twice a month at select elementary schools on the island. Additionally, competitive dividend rates apply to the entire balance of the youth savings account, until your child turns 18, helping to cultivate positive saving habits.
