Each year credit unions worldwide celebrate International Credit Union Day (ICU Day) on the third Thursday of October. We celebrate the credit union movement, spreading awareness and thanking our members for their continued support.
Join us this year in celebrating 160 years of credit unions around the world uplifting their communities and enriching the lives of their members.
This year’s theme for ICU Day is “Local Service. Global Reach.” How does that apply to credit unions?
“Everything credit unions do serves the needs of members on a local scale. Credit unions impact local communities across the globe by bringing financial empowerment to their community, which inspires other credit unions to enhance their service. ICU Day is an opportunity to raise worldwide awareness about the movement.”
Come visit us on October 17th, at any of our branches, where we’ll begin distributing our 2020 pocket calendars (featuring an exclusive photo by Tracey Niimi) and an HFS gum pack to members.* Also, keiki 13 and under will receive a Halloween goodie bag.* We look forward to seeing you soon!
*Available while supplies last.
