Aside from being at home, your keiki spend a large part of their time in school - and so do their teachers.
One day a year is set aside to showing their teachers just how much we appreciate their dedication to our keiki’s education and well-being…and that day is today! Have you already planned for teacher appreciation day? If not, here are 4 ways that you can celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day:
-
Pinterest
- If you’re looking for a cute and simple gift, pinterest has hundreds of options to help inspire you. Many of them are budget friendly too, and easy to make, with cute message options to attach!
-
Thank you cards
- A nice handwritten message can go a very long way to show someone that you appreciate their hard work. It’s relatively inexpensive to pick up a pack of thank you cards from a local store and spend a few minutes writing thank you messages to each of your keiki’s teachers. You can even get your little one involved and have them help write the message and sign it!
-
Sweet Treats
- If you don’t have time to put together a gift, think about picking up a yummy treat that you know the teachers will love! Whether sweet or savory, food is always a great option, especially when you’re pressed for time. You can even purchase a platter of something that all the teachers can share instead of purchasing individual gifts for each teacher.
-
Thank them in person
- Have some extra time when you’re dropping off or picking up your kids? If your budget is tight or you’re short on time to prepare anything, take a little extra time to personally thank the teachers and wish them a Happy Teacher Appreciation Day!
